VISION ZERO - Opening New Doors in OSH beyond Compliance

Workers have the fundamental right to life as well to physical and mental integrity. However, the actual situation is dramatic: the numbers of workers suffering is rising – new risks appear. Therefore in 2017 the new Global VISION ZERO Initiative has been launched by the International Social Security Association (ISSA). VISION ZERO is now the joint strategy of all ISSA Sections for Prevention to develop, promote and implement a new mindset for a prevention culture at workplaces, in countries and even societies. The presentation will deliver an update on the current achievements and discuss next steps and focal points for the global implementation phase as
